Each hosting organization develops a specific theme for their conference that combines the national citizenship objectives of ICS/ÉÉC with regional influences and issues that are relevant locally and to the country as a whole. Conferences take place in the Spring, generally in May, and the reciprocal exchange takes place throughout July.
